Attorney Chris Carlyle testified today before the Florida House Judiciary Committee on HB 197, which seeks to impose term limits on appellate judges and supreme court justices. The Appellate Practice Section of the Florida Bar (which Mr. Carlyle serves as Chair) has opposed the legislation, as has the Bar itself.
