Attorney Chris Carlyle addressed the Florida House of Representatives Civil Justice Subcommittee concerning HB 197, which proposes adding term limits for appellate judges and supreme court justices to the Florida Constitution. Mr. Carlyle presently serves as Chair of the Appellate Practice Section of the Florida Bar, but the Section has not taken a position on the proposed legislation at this point.
