Christopher V. Carlyle is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in appellate practice and is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell. He has an extensive background in appellate as well as commercial litigation. Prior to joining The Carlyle Appellate Law Firm, he practiced a wide range of commercial litigation with Holland & Knight, LLP and McLin & Burnsed, P.A. Mr. Carlyle is admitted to practice in Florida state and federal courts, the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a certified Circuit Court Mediator, and is also a certified Appellate Court Mediator.
Mr. Carlyle graduated cum laude from the Pepperdine University School of Law, where he was associate editor of the Pepperdine Law Review. Mr. Carlyle was selected to the Dean's List each of his three years in law school. His published works include:

Mr. Carlyle is a member of The Florida Bar, and is active in the Bar's Appellate Practice Section. He currently serves on the Appellate Practice Section's Leadership Committee as well as the Publications Committee. He is also a member of the Florida Justice Association.
In addition to his state and national bar activities, Mr. Carlyle is a member of the Bar Associations of Orange, Lake, Sumter and Marion Counties. He is also a member of the Lake & Sumter County Inns of Court, and he has an extensive background in community service. He was a member of Leadership Florida's Class XXV, and he currently serves on Leadership Florida's Council of Advisors. He was president of the Leadership Lake County Class of 2000, and currently serves as a director of the Leadership Lake County Alumni Association. He is a Vice President and Board Member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Lake and Sumter Counties, Inc., and is a Board Member of SunTrust Lake County Administrative Board.
